CleanCo has land holdings in and around the Far North Queensland town of Millstream, located approximately 10km south west of Ravenshoe. The eastern boundary of the properties is adjacent to Ravenshoe State Forest and the southern boundary lies adjacent to Wooroora Station. The Millstream Falls National Park is located upstream of the properties. Rural residential lots border the northern boundaries. Across these CleanCo properties the landform varies greatly including the rugged and steep southern section which includes Mount Ronald at 957m.
CleanCo’s land holdings in this area cover ~990 ha of freehold land comprising 18 separate lots. Approximately 95% of this land is being managed under three existing agistment agreements with neighbouring land holders. CleanCo also undertakes land management to remove weeds listed under the Biosecurity Act 2014. In addition, CleanCo owns and maintains a cattle grid on Wooroora Road. CleanCo also allows a local tourism operator to access Millstream via our land, under a land access agreement.
A large percentage of the land that CleanCo holds has been identified by the Department of Defence as having potential for unexploded ammunitions, as the Millstream area was used as a training ground during World War II.
CleanCo currently has no plans to develop this land for electricity generation purposes.
